Gotham Gazette on Domino

Gotham Gazette has a follow-up on the Council's approval of the Domino designation. The final tally was 46-0, and Council Speaker Christine Quinn clearly understands the urban landscape and why Domino matters:

Describing New York as "a place where residential buildings abut what have been manufacturing and where manufacturing buildings can transform into new residential buildings in our city," Quinn said preserving the sugar refinery would contribute to sustaining the city's intricate and novel urban landscape.
